We had a 110 year old cabinet that we wanted restored and wanted custom cabinets built to match for our kitchen remodel.
Matt did an excellent job restoring the original cabinet, adding state-of-the-art hardware so that the 110 year-old cabinet retained all of its old charm but had all the modern upgrades and conveniences. The matching cabinets turned out great and blended in almost seamlessly with the original.
Most people can't even tell the difference. Our kitchen really looks stunning. There is a noticeable difference between real and pre-made cabinetry that is worth the money.
The price was reasonable compared to other similar services in the area.
Matt was a pleasure to work with and a likeable guy.

Matt did a great job doing our kitchen remodel almost 10 years ago and everything still looks just as lovely as the first day -- he worked with us to create a beautiful, classic design that is timeless! He also made built in dressers, custom beds, and toy chests for our daughters that they have put to the test; I am pleased to report all pieces have held up nicely over the years.
Matt always comes up with great solutions for design challenges and he keeps the customer's needs and budget in mind. He is our "go-to-guy" whenever we get the itch to remodel or redesign a room!

Kent Cabinetry built solid cherry cabinets for us a large kitchen, large laundry room and two bathrooms. They also made 12 raised panel doors for a living room built-in. The craftsmanship was excellent and the work was completed on schedule.

...very talented and professional. Did work exactly to our specifications and made sure to travel the hour and 1/2 to our northern Va location to deliver and inspect the installation of our oversized custom bathroom vanities. Very good communication and workmanship. Highly, highly recommend and would choose to use them again for other custom made cabinetry.

We hired Kent Cabinetry to build a custom bookcase for our library/media room (previously a garage). The project was complicated due to a plumbing stack from the upper floor that jutted out of the wall where the bookcase was to be located.
Kent Cabinetry took it in stride and designed a wonderful solution. The book case turned out beautifully - I was so pleased!
They were very responsive, easy to work with and very well priced. They stayed within my budget, always were easy to contact, and easily met my schedule constraints.
Even though the project was completed, they came back when I asked them (not Kent Cabinetry's responsibility) to finish the adjoining crown with matching mitre cuts when my contractor who had remodeled the original room did not have the appropriate skills to do the finished/expert carpentry work .
I have worked with several contractors on major renovations (kitchen and garage) over the past five years and I found that Kent Cabinetry was the best. I would definitely hire them again.

Kent Cabinet designed and installed an entertainment center into my apartment. Standard design - bookshelves and cabinets flanking a television insert, running the entire length between two walls and up to the ceiling.
Overall design was good, cabinet construction was excellent. Three large pieces, built off-site, slid into each with precision, and presented a complete built-it appearance. Workmanship, including hardware and paint, was excellent.
Kent people were excellent, personable and very easy to work with.

Kent Cabinetry installed custom wall units in my living room and bedroom. The project included "design challenges" that were successfully solved. It was completed on time and on budget.

I hired Kent Cabinetry & Millwork to cover a 12 foot long wall with a built in media center/ bookshelves. I researched companies in my area, and found Matt's work to be the best choice for us.
Matt, the owner, viewed pictures of my wall, and reviewed some photos of our "style" and presented me with a CAD design by email. He was very quick, and understood what we wanted. We went back and forth a few times on the details, and then he came to my house to check all of my measurements.
Within 60 days, Matt and his team showed up at my house for an all-day install. I did not think it would take all day, but Matt's team worked carefully, especially with my imperfect walls, and took time to do the finishing touches, and touch-ups as needed.
The design is modern, and it has truly changed the entire look of the room. It gives us so much space, storage and it brightens up the room.
Matt's pricing is very reasonable for the time and work they put into the design, painting and install.
I am happy to recommend Kent Cabinetry and I will definitely call them back for future projects.
